My inspiration began when I put up my first Ofrenda for Dia de los Muertos. I get great joy through the art of crafting, with a special focus on Halloween and Day of the Dead. I have a love for all things spooky and a deep appreciation for the vibrant traditions of Dia de los Muertos.

 

I love the meaning of the these traditional days celebrating family members who have moved on, and the fact that it is not a sad time, but a celebration of their lives and a way to share stories of our family with younger generations. It pays tribute to the rich cultural heritage of Dia de los Muertos with beautiful and colorful crafts that honor loved ones who have passed — from meticulously crafted sugar skulls to stunning ofrendas that celebrate the memories of those we hold dear.

 

It also inspired me to start creating wreaths and other crafts for Halloween, which blossomed into creating unique wreaths and crafts for all holidays and occasions.

I work full time and have other family obligations, but always find time to craft. I enjoy creating and the joy it gives me, and sharing those feelings with customers who buy my products. The biggest benefit for me is getting inspired by other crafters and creators, and I am constantly learning new techniques and designs from them, which I believe improves my work.
